Indonesia Follow the International Dance Festival in India

Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) representing Indonesia will perform at the International Dance Festival held by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) in Hyderabad, India. Program and Production Director of RRI Soleman Yusuf in Jakarta said that he invited Exotic Karmawibhangga Indonesia (EKI) Exotic Dance Studio to perform at the event. “While performing at the 53rd meeting of ABU in Bali, EKI Studio managed to amaze the audience. Because of their amazing performances that Indonesia was invited to enliven the first ABU International Dance Festival, “The dance festival is devoted to young dancers aged 18-25 years, all costs and accommodation of the dancers are borne by the organizers. EKI Studio will send nine dancers plus one doctor and one mentor. EKI will feature two dances, namely Bala Turangga and Ballet Cabaret. “Bala Turangga dance can illustrate the splendor and courage of the Majapahit riding army, while Balarese Ballet dance is a dance whose movement is a combination of Pendet dan Legong dance,” EKI dancers claim to be happy to represent Indonesia to perform at the event. They do the preparation and training in a short time, which is 1.5 months. Besides Indonesia, other participating countries are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Fiji, Maldives, Philippines, and Uzbekistan.
